Socks

Greetings Faithful Readers...

Dozens of hours...

Many trips in the car...

Dropped stitches...fixes...yarn issues...

The result:  The best socks ever.

You know why they are so awesome?

Mindy made them.

My wife rox my sox.

Robbery

Greetings Faithful Readers...

I was sitting here thinking...who have I robbed?

Who have I not included on my team because I felt like I had to do it all...robbing them of the opportunity to use their gifts for Christ?

Who have I stepped in front of because I thought I had a better answer

Who have I told "I'll pray for you" and forgotten to...robbing them of being lifted up.

Who have I robbed by giving them the leftovers of my time, my energy, or my gifts.

Who has seen my mask and not me.

Saddest thing is you probably didn't even know it happened.

I'm sorry.

Quitting

Greetings Faithful Readers...

If you were at Flamingo Road Church last weekend (and why wouldn't you be...), I closed the teaching with a challenge.

Don't quit.

I know the finish line looks a long way off...or perhaps you can't see it at all.

Know that it is there.

I know the world is screaming at you to compromise...to pull up...to leave the track.

That's exactly what the devil wants too...

I've received so many emails from people wanting to quit...to give up...to stop.

I know...sometimes I do too.

Don't.

Triumph over adversity is regret repellant.
